Friendly, quaint, and the perfect respite on a rainy day. We played board games and ate dulces and crepes. We had Mighty leaf tea (their selection is at least a dozen or more teas), and I had a cappuccino too. We spent hours here, eating, drinking, and playing games. The prosciutto crepe was yummy, though I wish there were set crepes and not 3 for each additional topping. I wanted meat with other things. We added mushrooms and it was okay. I think prosciutto with fig and basil would be my next go-to. There is parking out back and front but it is very crowded.

How cafes should be. Cafe Sophia is a warm, friendly place to get a coffee, pastry, crepe, ice cream or one of their other tasty items. Nestled conveniently in the center of West Hartford, Cafe Sophia is a delightful spot to get your coffee and relax while you drink and talk with a friend or about business. Rather than mass produced coffee, each cup is hand made and designed. No load noises from dozens of orders or the drive through. Andca good tasting cup of coffee to boot!

Sofia’s Coffee Shop is my go-to spot—reliable, warm, and always excellent. The coffee is consistently great (I especially love the oat milk latte), and the crepes are unbeatable—my favorite is the mozzarella and tomato. They also have terrific ice cream, amazing desserts, and some of the best baklava I’ve had. The muffins are fresh and delicious too. The service is fantastic. Ian, always wearing his black beret, is knowledgeable and friendly, and Sofia herself is a joy to talk to—genuine, welcoming, and full of great conversation. The whole place feels like home. I try to stop in at least twice a week. Highly recommend!

I really don’t know why this incredible cafe doesn’t have 5 stars! Very unique one of a kind cafe serving a massive selection of crafted drinks and teas along with macaroons for any flavor you can imagine ! My bestie and I got tea and hot apple cider to accompany our lavender and passionfruit macaroons! The crepes I had in the past were spectacular as well. Cheers!

Love this cozy little gem. Walked in 10 minutes before the ladies were closing, we offered to take and go but, they welcomed us to stay and enjoy the rest of our evening. We also took some of those macarons to go. It's been a month and I'm still dreaming of the Kadayifi

Lovely and quaint SoHo-style cafe in the middle of West Hartford Center. Food is scrumptious and the coffee flavor options go for days. Yummy biscotti and apricot pastries. Try the omelets! They're a delight, and the veggies are free. The seating outside on a mild, sunny day is my favorite part of the atmosphere as locals drive by and wave hello. The owner, Sophia, and her polite staff will always greet and serve you with a smile. Oh! And the wi-fi is free! Perfect for this writer. Enjoy!
